Here's some additional info on Ace and his species!



SPECIES INFO:
Ace's species branch off from each other when an excess amount of mana is produced. Ace's tail is this excess mana and can basically be considered his "baby." 

His species is constantly producing mana and if they don't get rid of the excess, they'll overload their host.

All mana parasites are related, no matter the age, size, or color of the mana. This doesn't mean they know each other, however, and tend to be very competitive if they meet another of their kind.

Mana parasites can actually change the color of their mana.

Mana parasites are rare due to magic users hunting them down in order to use them as a huge mana battery for all their magical needs.

They can latch onto just about anything that gives them structure, but the weaker the item, the quicker it will be destroyed. Mana parasites prefer organic hosts.

Mana makes him grow in mass and causes him to be real sluggish because his body is trying to process where to move it all. If he takes it in too quickly, his body will expand and destroy his host.



ACE INFO:
Ace has a tendency to unintentionally say very rude things to people he meets unless they have a super powerful or magically interesting body. He's always searching for a body better than his because no matter how strong the host, it will eventually disintegrate. 

Other people's needs don't concern him unless it will get him something in return. He's very greedy and self-centered.

The host body he has now is like a trophy to him; he enjoys flaunting it.

Because his host body is still living and breathing, it still needs to eat, sleep, drink, and do other basic needs.

Ace uses pieces of himself to shield from magic attacks. Doing this reduces his mass however, so he needs to find a good balance.

Ace has little to no understanding how emotions work since he views everyone as a potential host. It's possible for him to learn how others feel, he just tends to ignore it or block it out. 

He'll always try to attempt to talk himself out of a situation if it means avoiding a fight. He may be weak, but he still has some sense of defense. His social skills are lacking, though.

Despite having hardly any social skills, Ace has a ton of knowledge on how mana works.
